Joan joined the Meteorological staff
in 1994, then pursued ELMT1 studies leading to her promotion to
Meteorological Assistant.
In 2006 She completed the MLMT2
training.
Joan has represented SVGMETS at WMO3 Conference on
Women in
Meteorology in Switzerland, 2003 and other regional meteorology/
climatology events.
Her major contributions to
SVGMETS team efforts are in the areas of Observing, and Climate Data Services.
She is currently the lead on the implementation of Climsoft, a Climate Data
Software that is being tested.
Her interests includes, music
and playing the guitar.
